This is a personal information database that keeps track of your schedules and appointments as well as contact details.
Chariots PIM DB is an easy to use Scheduler and Database. The interfacing with touch screen is embedded into the tool. If your machine has a touch screen you can work directly through that. You can Save Names, Addresses, Phones, Emails, Birthdays. Managing the database is easy and the tool allows you to Sort, Search, and Export the Database. Database Backup and Restore features are available that will protect your data both in the appointments and scheduler database as well as the contacts database. After installation you can choose from some eight built in theme styles to give the application a distinctive look. The main display area for viewing the contacts details or the appointments details is quite well organized,
Viewing is organized as scheduler view, contacts view, contact`s birthday finder view, reports view and labels view. Schedule view gives you schedules and appointments details organized per day, per week, per month etc. Contacts view provides you the contact details. This is a spreadsheet fashion while the birthday finder is a graphical view of calendars. Reports view does a preview of reports you wanted to create and labels view show you details based on labels you may have used to tag data. The interface design is a little confused. While there are simple buttons for many actions, there are large icons for really simple actions such as import iCalendar or export iCalendar, empty database, empty scheduler database, etc. You have a large icon for saving appointments and a smaller icon for the same too. Overall the design does not seem very consistent. The overall set of features also does not offer anything really additional to what you can get with Outlook where the email client is a bonus anyway. Overall this is a handy tool.
